Golf

The Otsego Club offers a golf experience comprised of two uniquely-challenging PGA championship courses - The Classic, and The Tribute, designed by Rick Robbins and PGA Tour Professional, Gary Koch. Each course offers scenic beauty in the form of woodlands, water and wildlife.

THE TRIBUTE - OUR NEWEST MASTERPIECE!

Designed by Rick Robbins and PGA Tour Professional, Gary Koch

It is a Tribute to the game of golf, the Gaylord Golf Mecca Community and the unrivaled natural beauty surrounding it. Winding through 1,100 acres of northern Michigan’s majestic Sturgeon River Valley, The Tribute offers stunning vistas and an array of challenge for all levels of play.

OTHER SUMMER ACTIVITIES

Hiking

Make the most of your day hiking around the Sturgeon River Valley. We have several trails on property and many parks nearby with hiking trails available. Our trails range from Beginner to Advanced. Hiking trails can be muddy and snowy.

Please visit www.trailscouncil.org for more information on hiking in the area.

Biking

We are under construction with our mountain bike course.

There are many biking trails in the area. Please visit www.trailscouncil.org for more information on biking in the area.

Tennis

The Otsego Club offers 2 Laykold tennis courts for our guest enjoyment. They are located across the parking lot from the main lodge.

Swimming

Here at The Otsego Club, we have a 40 ft. by 80 ft. outdoor pool open summer and winter.

Sauna

Saunas are located in the pool area and follow pool operation hours.

Motorcross

This is a first for us! On October 10 and 11th we are going to turn the bikes loose on a track built by Patric Grzebinski and the gang from BAJA MX. The track is going to be largely natural terrain (with a few surprises – think 120 foot half pipe) and will feature some of the longest moto-based hill Climbs this side of Glen Helen Raceway in California. Please visit the events calendar for the month of October or www.bajamx.com for more information.

Fishing

The Otsego Club is the headwaters of the Sturgeon River. We have limited fishing available on property with the trout pond at the River Cabin and with some hiking we can get to some good trout water on the Sturgeon River.

We also recommend guide services from Hawkins Outfitters (www.hawkinsflyfishing.com) and Fuller's North Branch Outing Club (www.fullersnboc.com).

Canoeing

Canoeing is a popular activity for families when vacationing in northern Michigan. We recommend the following canoe livery:
